Cultural Trip : Wat Pho 23 Aug. 2015

Wat Pho is one of Bangkok's oldest temples, well known among the tourists and it existed before the establishment of Bangkok as the capital. It is also regarded as the first university in Thailand where provided knowledge in regard to ancient medical treatment. International students are able to learn about a history of the temple and early Bangkok.

 

 
   

 

 

 

 


 

Thai Cooking (Omelette) 22 Aug. 2015

Thai cuisine is one of the most famous cuisines in the world. That is why OIA has brought one of the most Thai well known recipes on the table to show international students.  OIA arranged a basic Thai cooking class of cooking Thai crispy omelette dish for international students to learn of cooking it.

   
   

 

 

 

 

 
   

 


 

 

Thammasat International Students visit The Grand Palace on 14 - 15 Aug. 2015

In the beginning of every semester, Thammasat university will organize a special trip for international students to visit the Emerald Buddha and Grand Palace, located adjacent to the university. As one of the symbols of Thailand, it was a special event to learn about Thai history through the glittering Thai architecture. Moreover, Bureau of the Royal Household grants them a permission to enter and perceive the outstanding interior decoration, Thai and European style, inside the Grand Palace.
